Band of Gamers: Episode #85 - Remembering Generation Four
Welcome back for another episode of the Band of Gamers Podcast!!! It's episode #85 and tonight it is just DBQ and Zeux. We are reminiscing about Console Generation Four, and we talk Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Turbo Grafx, and Neo Geo. The news cycle has inspired this segment, as well as some recent posts over at our home site of GearWERKZ.com. Nintendo cancelling the NES Classic, the SNES Classic rumors, and Zeux challenging the conventional wisdom that the SNES is the best console ever in the history of consoles...we fondly recall a time when gaming was simpler, the market was less complex, and the console wars also firmly took its footing in gamers championing their platform of choice. Download the pod, give it a listen, and regale at our provisioning of historical context and getting all the feels about some of our early years as gamers. Zeux and DB then run down what they have been playing on various platforms and do a slight reveal of next week's discussion topic. Salut!
